ATTRACAP

Within our technology transfer activities of ATTRACAP Anant Patel went to visit BIOCARE in Einbeck. He was accompanied by his partner in crime Stefan Vidal from Göttingen University. Both were amazed how fast the small company managed to implement the first technologies.

Sissy rocked the FameLab

Our working group member Sissy Lorenz won the first prize at the yesterday’s science communications competition “FameLab” held in Bielefeld. She and her eleven cocontestants had just three minutes to convey a scientific concept of their choice. With her presentation on “how to combat ticks with baker’s yeast” she impressed the jury as well as the audience. She got 300 €, a communication training and a journal subscription.  Last but not least, Sissy qualified for the national final on 12 may 2016 in Bielefeld.
